Publisher TKO Studios have announced their third wave of graphic novels, which consists of three books releasing on November 9, 2020. Available to pre-order from October 16, they consist of the following titles:

– “The Pull,” a sci-fi epic by writer Steve Orlando (“Commanders in Crisis“), artist Ricardo Lopez Ortiz (“Blank Panther vs. Deadpool”), colorist Triona Farell (“Black Widow”) and letterer Thomas Mauer (“Godkillers”). The premise asks, “What would you do if you only had six days left to live – give up or fight back?”

– “Lonesome Days, Savage Nights,” written by Steve Niles (“30 Days of Night”) and TKO co-founder Salvatore Simeone (“Eve of Extinction”), with art by Szymon Kudranski (“Punisher”) and letterered by Thomas Mauer (“The Realm”). The book stars a werewolf private detective.

– “Redfork,” by writer Alex Paknadel (“Arcadia”), artist Nil Vendrell (“Shirtless Bearfd-Fighter!”), colorist Giulia Brusco (“Django Unchained”) and letterer Ryan Ferrier (“Kennel Block Blues”). The dark horror book follows an ex-con who returns to his hometown, and discovers something is draining the very life from it.

Founded in 2017, TKO was intended as “the first modern comic book company,” releasing their first two waves of titles as single-issues, in box sets, or as trade paperbacks on the same day. They exist independently of the single market, with retailers and readers able to order print copies directly from their website. (Their titles are also available digitally.) These mark the first new titles announced by TKO since 2018. A film version of Roxane Gay, Ming Doyle, and Jordie Bellaire’s “The Banks,” written by Gay herself, is also in the works.
