Spawn #200 has started to achieve mythical status over the past couple years because of the prolonged build-up. When I was researching it online, I first saw talk of it in interviews in February of 2009, and it’s with good reason: Todd McFarlane is back baby!
The once biggest name in comics will be performing artistic duties on this book, along with an epic list of others, including Ashley Wood, Jim Lee, David Finch, Robert Kirkman (!!) and more.
Today on Twitter, McFarlane revealed all ten covers to this mammoth issue, and it makes a young man nostalgic for the early days of Image Comics. So many variants!
I’m looking forward to this long talked about issue to finally become a reality, but nice work to McFarlane on the build-up.
