It seems Bob Harris is not the only former Marvel EiC to shack up with DC Comics as it has now been revealed that Tom DeFalco will be taking over writing duties on Legion Lost, DC’s controversial Legion spin-off book featuring several of that title’s core characters lost in the “modern day” DCU.
According to launch writer Fabian Nicieza, unforeseen time constraints have resulted in how bowing out of the book and given DC’s desire to keep all New 52 books on schedule no matter what (resulting in more than a few creative changes already), it’s no surprise that DeFalco was tapped.
As far as their careers go, DeFalco and Nicieza both “hit it big” around the same time and generally approach comics in similar ways, so fans of the book needn’t fear a jarring shift from writer to writer.
DeFalco takes over with March’s Issue #7. It is unclear at this time whether artist Pete Woods will be continuing on the book or not (but there is no reason to assume he won’t).
