In news that really should be surprising to absolutely no one, Tom Hardy will join the cast of Nolan’s third and final Batman film. It should be no surprise to anyone because Tom Hardy was phenomenal in that little film Inception you may have heard or seen, and who directed it? Chris Nolan. Surprise!
That’s not to say that this isn’t incredibly exciting news. It totally is. We’re all fans of Tom Hardy for life thanks to roles in Inception, Bronson, and Rocknrolla. With any luck, we’ll see him suit up and get all evil on us in the form of some deranged madman a la Bronson. That’d be pretty awesome.
So who is going to be? No one knows yet. But we cast a whole slew of possible villains once. Maybe he’ll find a role in there?
