Jim Davis is without a doubt most well known for his lasagna loving, trouble causing cat character Garfield, but in the mid 1980’s he also was regularly producing another comic for three years: U.S. Acres. This comic did not meet the same widespread critical and commercial love, but it is remembered fondly by yours truly, especially for the characters appearances in the Saturday-morning cartoon “Garfield and Friends.”
Now, Orson the Pig and all of his friends are back as a webcomic on the Garfield website, with new material coming straight out of Davis’ mind. For fans of strip comics, this is not to be missed.
