Much like they did with the climax of Jonathan Hickman’s Fantastic Four story “Three,” Marvel has announced that Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #160, which is in the middle of “The Death of Ultimate Spider-Man,” will be polybagged to prevent possible spoilers. As an interesting touch, Bagley’s variant cover will have a variant polybag (which is merely an inversion of the standard one). Like “Three,” the issue will receive no overprint and will not make it to news stands. While some may be skeptical towards whether or not Ultimate Peter Parker is actually going to die, Marvel’s press release is all too willing to remind us that “in the Ultimate Universe, There Are No Rules!”
