According to a report over at Bleeding Cool, Ultimate Spider-Man #160 – the issue that will feature the death of Ultimate Peter Parker – is going to be polybagged, just like Fantastic Four #587. This is going to be done because – …well, we’re unsure. That’s actually a good question. Maybe the media attention given to the Fantastic Four death was such a boon that they think it’d be fun to do it again!
This is unconfirmed as of now, but Rich Johnston isn’t exactly known for being wrong all the time. It’s quite possible that this will happen. Why? I have no clue. The arc is called The Death Of Spider-Man. Not much of a shocker there. One can assume that there is some inherent twist, but you never know.
