After debuting at SDCC and being cut short by Agent Coulson himself, Marvel has now released online a clip of a tie-in short entitled “The Consultant”, the first of two shorts entitled Marvel: One-Shots, which will help expand and connect the Marvel Movie-verse. “The Consultant” will be featured on the Thor Blu-ray release, and features Agent Coulson discussing with an unnamed SHIELD agent how to deal with General Ross and get him to work for SHIELD, which should very much remind you all of a certain final scene in a certain film.
Marvel has also teased that the short on the Captain America Blu-ray will be entitled “A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Thor’s Hammer…”
Both of the shorts will be Blu-ray exclusive. Whether or not there will be more is supposedly up in the air, but given how much fun Marvel and their cast appear to be having making the films and it’s universe, it is safe to say that Agent Coulson’s role is only set to get bigger at this point.
