Via CBR, Vault Comics have unveiled their new titles launching in Spring 2023, including the previously announced “Barbaric: Hell to Pay” (launching January), and “The Nasty.” The newly revealed titles are:

Covers respectively by Ben Hennessy, Nick Robles, and Gisele Lagace

– “Godfell,” a fantasy series by writer Christopher Sebela, artist Ben Hennessy, colorists Triona Farrell and Vittorio Astone, and letterer Jim Campbell. As the title suggests, the plot sees God Himself fall dead out of the sky onto the land of Kerethim, attracting “royal families at war, shadowy creatures of the dark, and armies of the dispossessed, all coming to lay claim to parts of God’s body. Into this power struggle wanders Zanzi Vuiline, a soldier and berserker trying to get home from a years-long war.” The comic begins in February.

– “Songs for the Dead: Afterlife,” the third volume of the fantasy series by Andrea Fort and MC Heron, who are joined this time round by artist MJ Erickson (“The Thrilling Adventure Hour: Residence Evil”) instead of co-creator Sam Beck. The series, kicking off in March, sees necromancer Bethany, and her companions Elissar and Jonas, finally reach “the last bastion of the necromancers, [where] resurging prejudices have them in shambles. Can Bethany unite them in the face of escalating tensions? Or will the coming war shatter all of her dreams for a peaceful future?”

– “Money Shot Comes Again,” the second volume of the space sex comedy, beginning in April. Writer Tim Seeley goes solo (without co-creator Sarah Beattie), while Gisele Lagace (“Ménage à 3”) takes over as artist on the series, which continues the story of the space explorers-turned-porn stars the XXXplorers. This time round, “when the giant ass space jellyfish who run the ordered universe arrive on Earth,” our heroes “must put away grudges, crushes and side hustles to once again take one or two or three for the team. Begins an epic new arc, which takes aim at dumb billionaires and bad optics, and guests stars a LEGENDARY underground comix heroine!”

“The Nasty,” John Lees and George Kambadais’s delayed video nasty-inspired horror series, will begin in the meantime in March. For more on all these series, including cover art, head to CBR.
