We’ll give you a minute to collect yourself and leave if you don’t want to be spoiled.

Honestly, it’s a spoiler. It’s something that would get out and get back to you one way or another, but it is 100% what I would classify as a spoiler in the Book of Spoilers.

Given that it, you know, gives something away that is probably supposed to be a surprise.

Although why they put spoilers on covers I’ll never quite understand… leave a little mystery, you know?

Anyway. If you’re still here, I imagine you’re here to see a thing.

Right?

Right.

Ok, then. Here you are:

Ladies and gentlemen, the cover to “Fables” #134.

As shown at last night’s Vertigo panel at SDCC, it appears that Boy Blue and Bigby Wolf have not met their ends just yet. Bigby has only recently met death, so its possible that this sequence is in relation to some kind of afterlife romp or some such, not just that Boy Blue is back from the dead or anything like that.

But still, its a bit of a surprise. And certainly another long-dead Fable has recently returned to life in the pages of the companion series “Fairest.” In the land of stories, where your notoriety in fiction gives you power, perhaps there is time left for Little Boy Blue and the Big Bad Wolf to return from the grave?

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
