In May, Vertigo will be releasing an 80-page anthology title that will feature, among other things, the first edition of Azzarello and Russo’s new collaboration – Spaceman. While that alone should be a selling point, it just so happens that Vertigo’s Graphic Content have released a series of additional reasons as to why you’re going to want to own this title, including the gorgeous Paul Pope cover attached to this post.

Ok. Are you ready? Check this line-up out:

“All The Pretty Ponies”
Writer Lauren Beukes
Artist Inaki Miranda

“The White Room”
Writer Talia Hershewe
Artist Juan Bobillo

“Case 21”
Writer Selwyn Hinds
Artist Denys Cowan

“Postmodern Prometheus”
Writer and Artist Kevin Colden

“Ultra The Multi-Alien”
Writer and Artist Jeff Lemire

“Refuse”
Writer and Artist Ross Campbell

“Partners”
Writer Peter Milligan
Artist Sylvain Savoia

“A ‘True Tale’ From Saucer Country”
Writer Paul Cornell
Artist Goran Sudzuka

“Spaceman”
Writer Brian Azzarello
Artist Eduardo Risso

If that’s not enough to entice you, I’m not quite sure what will be. Paul Cornell? Jeff Lemire? That should honestly be enough for most of you, let alone the first chapter of Spaceman.

Look for this at the end of the month.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
