Last week we saw Marvel reveal a number of teasers for the creative teams on their Marvel NOW! titles. This week it seems we’re getting word from the creators themselves on each title.
We’ve already heard from Kieron Gillen on “Iron Man” and Jason Aaron on “Thor: God Of Thunder and now, in an interview with CBR, Mark Waid and Leinil Yu have revealed “Indestructible Hulk”.
Hulk is about what happens to us when we lose control — or when we try to exercise too much control. The stories we’ll be telling treat the Hulk less like a time bomb and more like a targeted WMD — and he’ll be moving throughout the Marvel Universe, exploring (on Banner’s behalf, for reasons you’ll see in issue #1) certain corners of the universe — Jotunheim, The Negative Zone, Lemuria. Hulk and Banner have a mission — and it will take them far and wide.
After Jason Aaron pitting Hulk and Banner against each other in the pages of “Incredible Hulk”, it seems like we’ll finally be seeing the two work together.
