As shared on every bit of social media he runs, as well as the Gun Machine newsletter service, Warren Ellis will no longer be working with crime novel publishing house Mulholland Books, cancelling his upcoming novella Dead Pig Collector in the process. He writes:

Due to continuing issues, I have today terminated my relationship with Mulholland Books. DEAD PIG COLLECTOR is cancelled (for now).

If you pre-ordered DEAD PIG COLLECTOR: Thank you! And I’m sorry. Really sorry. Your vendor will reverse the pre-order soon.

What this means for Dead Pig Collector, and other future Ellis novels and short stories, is uncertain, but the “(for now)” is a silver lining in this otherwise unfortunate situation. More on this as it develops.
