Warren Ellis To Return To Powers

Those of you who has been following Powers since it first arrived from Image Comics from a young Brian Bendis and Mike Oeming know that one of the earlier issues featured comic scribe Warren Ellis doing a ride along with Agent Walker as he does research for his comic book, Powers. Of course, the issue ended in somewhat of a disaster for Mr. Ellis, but I don’t think there is anything that can actually stop him.

And clearly Mike Oeming believes such, as he once again illustrates Warren Ellis into Powers, this time into a new role (and clearly a more powerful one). The image seen here will appear in an upcoming issue of Powers, which will be starting up regularly again soon (assumedly now that Takio is completed). Needless to say, the return of the series is an exciting one, and to have uber-Ellis in it is even more incentive to be reading along (not that there was ever not an incentive to follow Brian Bendis and Mike Oeming’s epic cop/hero comic).

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
