Not too long ago, one of the most important writers to Marvel’s resurgence in mainstream comics gave a TED talk in his hometown of Cleveland. Titled “The Little Boxes,” Bendis spoke about working in comics and becoming a comic writer to the level that he is today. With a mix of advice that he gives regularly on Tumblr as well as what I assume is material from his upcoming book “Words for Pictures,” Bendis’ half-hour talk is certainly interesting and informative for those curious about him and his process. Who knows; you may even get inspired to go make a comic book.
You can watch the entire talk above. You can see more, including all the images from his slide, at the TEDxCLE website.
