Debuting in front of The Dark Knight Rises and featuring a shortened version of what was shown at San Diego Comic Con (which was leaked and very quickly taken down), you can now watch the Man of Steel trailer from the comfort of your own home, starring Clark Kent in his own version of Deadliest Catch.

As far as teasers go, it’s not much to go on. It certainly seems to set a gloomy tone for the adult Superman mixed with childlike ideals which may or may not be called upon as the older character becomes an icon. Some of you may even recognize the words as a stripped down version of a similar monologue in “All-Star Superman,” which was said by Superman. But hey, it’s hard to judge a movie based on a minute-something long clip with no more than some stock footage and credits, so only time will tell if the latest Superman flick can find it’s own place to stand in the sun.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
