Because you should have a direct injection of heavy metal straight into your ear at least once a week, here is a metal cover of the theme song to the Walking Dead, complete with ripping solo and all.

Originally composed by Bear McCreary, the heavy metal version above is brought to you by Mat Graham of Artificial Fear. Graham arranged and performed the entire piece himself, and it is perfect for killing zombies too (assuming that you aren’t like Michael Madsen and don’t like listening to Stealers Wheel or something).

Listen above and/or download the MP3 directly off Graham’s YouTube page, and be sure to blast it while playing Left 4 Dead or something. Seriously — if you’re going to go for the headshot, at least use the right soundtrack.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
