This seems to be true every year, but 2015 has really encapsulated it: nostalgia sells, especially at the box office. This year, we’ve not just had the usual inundation of sequels, but specifically properties from the past revived in new ways, hoping to capitalize on our collective memories.

Some, like Spectre, are just the latest in a line of sequels. Others, like The Peanuts Movie, are an attempt to introduce a modern audience to a classic property.

For me, all the Star Wars talk has me giddy, and I feel like I’m 9 years old all over again. This has been a glorious time for my fandom, and I’m excited/terrified about what I’ll see on December 17th.

So, which of these is the film that tugs at your particular heartstrings? Vote, and let us know what memories they conjure up in the comments!
