We live in a world that, even five years ago, would seem crazy. Being conservative (not listing any shows without series commitments like Krypton, or that haven’t filmed a pilot yet like Titans or, like Defenders, don’t have a set release date), there are likely to be over fifteen comics-based shows on the air in the next year, from shows starring classic superheroes like The Flash and Supergirl to shows based on critically acclaimed books like “Preacher” and “Powers” being adapted.
While this is a great thing for the overall comics culture, we can all agree that the cream rises to the top pretty quickly, and certain shows have us far more excited than others. But that’s what we think, and many of us are cynics who care more about having to review a show rather than enjoy it. What do you think?
