What is Brightest Day? That’s the question some have been posing since the announcement of this title, and with the end of Blackest Night we now know: it’s a look at the heroes and villains that returned to life at the end of BN and what that means for the DCU. With Geoff Johns bring Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Firestorm, Maxwell Lord, Captain Boomerang, Jade, the Reverse-Flash, Hawk, Osiris and Deadman back to life in an absurdly huge four page gatefold spread by Ivan Reis, there are lot of questions and that is what Brightest Day will answer.
Check out DCU’s The Source blog for more from Geoff Johns about other Brightest Day titles (such as Green Lantern, which will be focusing on the White Lantern that appeared at the end of BN #8), but I have to point something out: I think it was their very first podcast, but our Spoiler Alert team of Matt and Mocle completely nailed the ending of this finale around 2 months ago.
