What Is October’s Return Of The Black Lanterns?

DC released a teaser image today, featuring a series of Black Lanterns and an ominous tagline “Return of the Black Lanterns.” Outside of that, though, there has been no commentary. So what does it mean?

Well, a keen eye will notice that featured in this image are all the heroes who came back to life at the end of the Blackest Night. It’s these characters who Brightest Day has so far focused on (with the exception of Martian Manhunter, who has gotten very little page time so far). The image also looks just like other covers David Finch has done for Brightest Day so far, with the same color palette and style. I think it’s safe to say that something is not going to go so well within the pages of Brightest Day for our heroes in October.

Keep your eyes open for more news and solicits as we get them.

Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
