As you may have noticed in the latest Marvel teasers, a series of letters are highlighted which – assumedly – have some kind of hidden message behind them. While we aren’t even sure what the new series is about yet, we do know it involves Doctor Strange and Iron Fist – two assumedly “Mighty” characters (perhaps as in Mighty Avengers) as well as magical characters, and we do know that we have some kind of a word scramble game going on.
So what are the scrambles we have?
Iron Fist: “The One Story” (thanks to our very own Brandon for that one!)
Doctor Strange: “The Universe To You” (thanks to maskedmanissue1 for that one!)
These are both guesses, though, and assuredly there will be more as the week goes on. So you tell us, readers! Sound off in the comments below with what you’ve got for the word scrambles and we’ll see if any of it makes sense.
UPDATE: Thanks again to maskedmanissue1 and his internet sleuthing, we can now tell you this (as he told us in our Red She-Hulk post:
So… in browsing through the internets to see what other people are coming up with, I found a possible alternate explanation. In which the phrases would come from putting each color from each character in a sentence (via comicbookresources). With that in mind you could have
RED = “everyone”, “you”, “love”
BROWN = “fight”, “to”, “save”
ORANGE = “shut”, “the”, “engines”
YELLOW = “the”, “universe”, “will”With that in mind, there may only be one more announcement that finishes the set of sentences, and potentially someone orange assuming that red refers to red she-hulk, brown refers to iron fist and yellow refers to dr. strange.
“Shut the engines (blank)” could refer to iron man, war machine or someone alike.
So there you go. … whatever that means.
