What Is Tom Brevoort’s Secret Project?

I like to think I’m a good reader. I also like to think I’m a good skimmer at times. However, for the life of me I’ve gone over the article twice and I just can’t figure out what I’m looking for! So, maybe you can help me:

Over at CBR, they posted their weekly T&A article in which Tom Brevoort and Axel Alonso sit down to dish with the folks at CBR, just like Joe Quesada does in Cup O’ Joe. It’s a great article and really allows us to look into Marvel’s process, which is interesting because no other comic company really does it like this. This week, they posted a bunch of images labeled “Tom Brevoort’s Secret Project”, but nothing beyond that (unless I’m blind) – and it’s leaving me quite perplexed.

So – what is this project? What is this weird explosion type thing that looks like the SHIELD logo and/or the Phoenix? What does Iron Man, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist have to do with it? And what about all those Iron Man robot things?

Go to Comic Book Resources and see if you can’t help me out, guys, because I’m at a loss. If anyone can tell me where I’m not looking, we’ll update the post. Until then – huh?

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
