In this week’s first issue of the new volume of Ultimate Comics Spider-Man, we find out that Miles Morales has an uncle who isn’t allowed to loan his family money because of where the money comes from, and that Miles’ family doesn’t like him to hang out with that uncle. Based off the fact that this uncle is clearly Snoop Dogg (as seen in the Sara Pichelli illustrated image above), you can only assume the the New York based Morales family is East Side for life.
Okay, okay, it isn’t actually Snoop Dogg (unless the Ultimate Universe Snoop Dogg is a thief named Aaron who dresses like Prowler), but still, holy crap, Miles’ uncle REALLY looks like Snoop Dogg.
This is the best Ultimate universe character model (apparent/accidental) photo reference since Samuel L. Jackson was clearly Nick Fury.
Oh, and by the way, this comic is pretty incredible. Fo’ shizzle dizzle. Well done to Bendis and Pichelli and the rest of Team UCSM. Look for our review later on.
