Who Is Jake Ellis? Extended To (Maybe) 15 Issues!

Well this is pretty damn cool!

If you were ever wondering about the power of sales, this is a perfect example. Who Is Jake Ellis?, a mini-series by Nathan Edmondson and Tonci Zonjic, has sold so well that Edmondson has gone ahead and announced that the book will be extended to 10-15 issues instead of just 5. Talk about crazy cool!  Edmondson claims that he always had a bigger story in mind, so since the comic has proven a hit he’ll be telling the story as big as he originally imagined. He also notes that the fifth story will go forward as planned, but it will be open enough to allow Edmondson and Zonjic enough space to go forward and tell more of the story, as apparently Jake Ellis’ identity as well as the true explanation of the Facility will not be revealed by the fifth issue. The second arc of the book will also be directly tied into “things” hidden in the first issue, so that’s definitely something to look forward to..

We at Multiversity have loved the book pretty damn hard so far (see our reviews for issue #1 and issue #2) and we’ve also had a peak at the third issue. We can happily inform you that if you haven’t been reading the book up until now, it would behoove you to go out and buy the previous issues (now in their second printings). Just sayin’.

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
