You probably don’t need extra reasons to love Francesco Francavilla and his artwork. If you’ve looked at anything he has done in the past few years, you’re a fan and you know it. Between his work on Detective Comics or Black Panther, his various fantastic covers, or the art he does just for fun online, Francavilla has made himself a high profile name within the past years and with good reason.

Now, in addition to the amazing variant covers he did for Mike Mignola, Francavilla took some time this past weekend and drew all of Mignola’s characters in the style of Charles Schultz for a piece they call HELLBROWN — and even if you don’t read Hellboy or BPRD comics, it is absolutely fantastic.

Take a look after the cut for the complete set, and as Francavilla says on Twitter, “Smiles guaranteed! (◕‿◕).” When you’re done tweet @f_francavilla and @artofmmignola and convince them that this should be a real book at some point, or at least a Dark Horse Presents short story.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
