Hey mama, do we got news for you. Allow me to pause the party momentarily.
Announced moments ago in an IDW press release, it looks like will.i.am is bringing that boom boom pow to comics in the form of “Wizards and Robots,” a new one-shot co-written by Brian David Johnson. Featuring art by Adam Archer, the 48-page one-shot won’t phunk with your heart as it blends sci-fi and fantasy, and it will meet you halfway in featuring real science with even realer fantasy, all to ask: who would you trust with the fate of the world? Wizards, or robots?
Just a one-shot, though? Come on. I just can’t get enough! I got a feeling that this comic’s going to be a good, good time. Pump it!
Either way, expect this comic to rock that body.
You know, I actually have a really great pitch for a Black Eyed Peas comic where a time-traveling Fergie comes back from three-thousand-and-late to tell the current-era BEP they need to stop the Man from destroying all partying. I think now is probably the time to bring it to IDW.
