This coming Saturday is Hellboy Day, a celebration of Mike Mignola’s inimitable creation and the 25th anniversary of the first Hellboy story, ‘Seed of Destruction.’ Ahead of Hellboy day, we are thrilled to exclusively announce the first omnibus collection for “Witchfinder.”

For those who are unfamiliar, “Witchfinder” follows Sir Edward Grey through stories that take place on the periphery of the Mignolaverse, but inform a far greater understanding and appreciation of the larger world Mignola and co. have crafted. Joined by creators like John Arcudi, Kim Newman, Maura McHugh, Ben Stenbeck, Tyler Crook, John Severin, and Dave Stewart, this collection shows Mignola at his world-building best, and shows just how detailed and fleshed out his creation has become.

“Witchfinder continues to mean quality in horror.” —SciFi Pulse

“Mignola has a great sense of the macabre and fantastic. This book is dark both in story and art (thanks to the wonderful Ben Stenbeck), has a fast pace, and new twists on every page.”—Kirkus Reviews

“This comic is a clear home run.”—All-comic.com
