Wonder Woman’s TV Costume Looks Different Now!

Well, there is something to be said for the quickness of the internet here. Adrianne Palicki filmed some running on the Wonder Woman pilot set today, and wouldn’t you know it – plenty of cameras were on hand to capture the moment!

As you can see, the costume is not the shiny glamour-shot vinyl suit we’d seen before. Now it looks a tad more plausible, with some extra stars and different color boots thrown in for good measure. If this is a reaction of the studio to all the negative comments on the internet? Maybe. Does it look better? Yes. Is it as good as Lynda Carter? Of course not, but let’s be realistic people – that’s just not going to happen. But I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy these various images because I very much do (and not just because Palicki is a babe). Times change and so do costumes, etcetera. No, this costume doesn’t seem like a proponent of magic, but it still looks good.

We have a whole mess of other images and videos after the cut of the costume in action, as it were. Take a look if you’re interested, but either way – keep your hopes up for the show.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
