Bruce Timm revealed at WonderCon that the next DC Animated film will be Justice League: Doom.

According to Timm, the story is “loosely inspired” by Mark Waid’s Tower of Babel arc from the JLA relaunch. Running from issues #43-46 originally, the series featured Ra’s Al Ghul stealing all of Batman’s files on the JLA members, who in turn is able to defeat all of the JLA due to Batman’s detailed notes.

The story was previously adapted as the series finale for the Justice League animated TV show, which Timm had also worked on.

As an additional note, the film will be the last DC Animated film project that Dwayne McDuffie worked on.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
