Announced at WonderCon, it appears that Victor Gischler will be keeping the vampires alive in the Marvel U with Dracula (last seen in Gischler’s X-Men) will be facing off with a “Worthy” Hulk to have a good ol’ smash fest.

In the series, the Hulk will be cast “in the role of a genocidal danger who might annihilate the entire vampire nation,” which – if you ask us? – is not necessarily a bad thing, all things considered. Drac will be the “good guy” in this story, and Ryan Stegman will be the artist.

Gischler notes that if you read Death of Dracula, Curse of the Mutants, and plan to read Throne of Blood, that you’re going to want to keep your eye on this story as well, caling it “crazy big.” Editor Jake Thomas also adds that it’s going to be a big part of the Fear Itself story.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
