Yes, this is the worst “column” title ever. No, we probably won’t bring it back.

Yesterday it was announced that Brian Wood’s upcoming “X-Men” book would be delayed, which made many fans a bit sad (us included). As covered by David Harper in our daily rundown, Wood noted that this was to avoid fill-ins so that the book could have smooth sailings, and was a temporary. So we’ll miss the book, but we’ll still welcome it with open arms in May.

And, as Bradley Cooper would say, there’s a silver lining – a little piece of information that seems to have flown under the radar is that Brian Wood’s “Star Wars” book at Dark Horse Comics isn’t going anywhere. As Wood stated on Twitter:

So that’s at least two-ish years of Brian Wood “Star Wars” stories! That’s a silver lining!

And while we may never do another Wood Watch, be sure to keep your eyes open as we cover Brian Wood content regularly (among other things too, I suppose).

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
