Zatanna Goes Missing From The Search For Swamp Thing

Are we late to this party? I can’t tell. I can’t find anyone talking about this, though.

In reading comic books this week, I noticed that the advertisement for DC’s Search For Swamp Thing has had a cover change. Instead of featuring former John Constantine love interest Zatanna Zatara like it was assumedly supposed to, the cover has been changed to feature Hawkman standing rather confused and awkwardly in the corner. Where did Zatanna go? Aren’t Z and Constantine supposed to have a spat, or did I completely read the last DC Nation wrong? And why replace her with Hawkman, of all characters? I can assume he might want to find Shiera and get help from Constantine, but it still seems an odd last-minute switcheroo.

It’s also noticable that the Bat-logo has changed to reflect Bruce’s suit.

Hmm. Odd.

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
