Welcome back to Make Mine Multiversity: A Marvel Podcast! Each episode we’ll be looking at Marvel books, old and new, and bringing you our takes on those books, Marvel news, Marvel history and, sometimes, we’ll even have lists! OK, I lied. There’re a lot of lists.

Make Mine Multiversity is a twice-monthly podcast that premieres on the first and third Friday of every month! It’s like payday, but you can’t buy food with our voices.

The first Make Mine Multiversity book club kicks off with “Avengers” #89-97, collectively known as 1972’s “Kree-Skrull War.” Why this book? Well, a little event on the horizon called “Empyre.” Oh, and here’s a timeline of that whole Captain Marvel debacle. But before we get down to that, Jake and Elias take stock of the current X-world with Baseline X, a soon to be recurring segment once X-books become more regular. Below are the rankings from the episode so spoilers? Spoilers.

Make Mine Multiversity Episode 134: Castaway in Dimension JRJR

    By and | Mar 1, 2024 | Podcasts

We're doing it folks. We've finally read one of the bugbears in the MMM canon: 'Castaway in Dimension Z' aka the first ten issues of Rick Remender's 2012 "Captain America" run. We do a recap on all things Remender, JRJR, and Cap once more before talking about this very divisive arc. Will Elias admit it's not as good as he thought it was? Will Jaina find more worth in it (and in the art?) Listen on, true believers!
