Welcome back to Make Mine Multiversity: A Marvel Podcast! Each episode we’ll be looking at Marvel books, old and new, and bringing you our takes on those books, Marvel news, Marvel history and, sometimes, we’ll even have lists! OK, I lied. There’re a lot of lists. This episode though? A small number of lists.
Make Mine Multiversity is a twice-monthly podcast that premieres on the first and third Friday of every month! It’s like payday, but you can’t purchase goods and/or services with it.
In this month’s Make Mine Multiversity Book Club, we’re taking a time machine back to the mid-2000s to see what Marvel thought teens sounded like, what the youts wanted to see, and why the digital coloring in those years makes Elias sad. Oh, and there’s some set-up for an event called “Empyre” and a direct link to the last book club entry? Who knows. Oh, wait. We do. It’s time to dig into Alan Heinberg and Jim Cheung’s “Young Avengers.”
Sound off in the comments with a Yea or Nay as to whether or not Stature is a stupid superhero name. And yes, that was a leading question.
Next month’s book club: the mini-series “Super Villain Team-Up: M.O.D.O.K’s 11” from 2007.
