Welcome back to Make Mine Multiversity: A Marvel Podcast! Each episode we’ll be looking at Marvel books, old and new! We’ll be discussing those books, and also talking Marvel news, Marvel history and, hopefully, revealing the secret history behind the Make Mine Multiversity Universe. That’s right. Nick, Jess, & Kevin were all secretly time-travelers and may, or may not, have been DC3 Good Boys the entire time.
Make Mine Multiversity is a twice-monthly podcast that premieres on the first and third Friday of every month! It’s like “S.H.I.E.L.D.,” except we only missed the first of last month as part of our vacation and not 8 years of releases.
What’s that in the darkness? Who’s that in the sky? Do you know the Quiet Math and the Odd Sentences? If not, don’t you worry because by the end of this month’s book club, you’ll still have no idea but at least you’ll have had fun trying to figure it all out cause we’re reading “S.H.I.E.L.D.” by Jonathan Hickman and Dustin Weaver, the series that took 8 years to finish 13 issues. And we thought Whedon & Cassaday’s “Astonishing X-Men” took forever to complete.
Plus, we welcome guest of the Pod and host of the “ARGonauts” podcast, Marn! Also, don’t worry, Jake was just in 1956 trying to figure out why Howard & Nathaniel are such garbage dads.
Next month’s book club: We’re taking a trip into the mind of a Spector with the fourteen issue run of “Moon Knight” by Jeff Lemire, Greg Smallwood, Jordie Bellaire, Cory Petit and many others.
