Make Mine Multiversity Episode 64: Are We…the Baddies?

Welcome back to Make Mine Multiversity: A Marvel Podcast! Each episode we’ll be looking at Marvel books, old and new! We’ll be discussing those books, and also talking Marvel news, Marvel history and a Marvel team that was once bigger than the Fantastic Four & the Avengers combined…mostly because they were all dead.

Make Mine Multiversity is a twice-monthly podcast that premieres on the first and third Friday of every month!

This month’s MMM book club is 1997’s “Thunderbolts” by Kurt Busiek, Mark Bagley & Vince Russell, Joe Rosas, and Comicraft’s Dave Lanphear & Oscar G. (along with a whole host of others for the one-shots, annuals, and Hulk issue.) Who are the Thunderbolts you ask? Well, (spoilers) as Elias found out while reading, they’re a bunch of villains pretending to be heroes! Only in Giuliani’s New York could that happen.

Next episode: We’re beginning the ANNIHILATION SAGA with “Drax the Destroyer: Earthfall” #1 – #4, “Annihilation: Prologue” #1, & “Annihilation: Nova” #1–4. Trade readers can find these in “Annihilation Book One” or in “Annihilation: The Complete Collection” Vol. 1.

The show is available on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, and other places so please subscribe! You can also listen above or download it here.

Make Mine Multiversity Episode 134: Castaway in Dimension JRJR

    By and | Mar 1, 2024 | Podcasts

We're doing it folks. We've finally read one of the bugbears in the MMM canon: 'Castaway in Dimension Z' aka the first ten issues of Rick Remender's 2012 "Captain America" run. We do a recap on all things Remender, JRJR, and Cap once more before talking about this very divisive arc. Will Elias admit it's not as good as he thought it was? Will Jaina find more worth in it (and in the art?) Listen on, true believers!
