Make Mine Multiversity Episode 74: Whose Realm Is It Anyway?

Welcome Back to Mine Multiversity: A Marvel Podcast! Each episode we’ll be looking at Marvel books, old and new! We discuss fun Marvel comics, and also Marvel news, Marvel history and Marvel trivia. Or, at least, that’s what we did before The Fault appeared.

Make Mine Multiversity is a twice-monthly podcast that premieres on the first and third Friday of every month! That’s about the same frequency that an Inhumans book is good.

Our coverage of the titanic, gargantuan ANNIHILATION SAGA continues. We’re in double digits baybee, hitting the big 1-0, and that means we’re nearing the end. It’s so close, I can almost taste the space destruction. But first, we’ve got to get through the first half of “Realm of Kings” with “Realm of Kings” #1, “Realm of Kings: Inhumans” #1-5, “Realm of Kings: Son of Hulk” #1-4, “Nova” #29 – #31, and the final issues of Abnett & Lanning’s “Guardians of the Galaxy:” #20-25.

It’s a lot to read but don’t worry, it’s the last long one for a good while AND it’s a much easier read than “War of Kings.” Trade readers can find the one-shot and mini-series in “Realm of Kings,” Nova in “Nova” Vol.6: Realm of Kings, and Guardians in “Guardians of the Galaxy” Vol. 4: Realm of Kings.

Next time, we conclude “Realm of Kings” with the final issues of “Nova” and the final “Realm of Kings” mini. The reading order is “Nova” #32-35, “Realm of Kings: Imperial Guard” #1-5, and “Nova” #36. Trade readers can find them in the same trades as above, sans the “Guardians” one.

Make Mine Multiversity Episode 134: Castaway in Dimension JRJR

    By and | Mar 1, 2024 | Podcasts

We're doing it folks. We've finally read one of the bugbears in the MMM canon: 'Castaway in Dimension Z' aka the first ten issues of Rick Remender's 2012 "Captain America" run. We do a recap on all things Remender, JRJR, and Cap once more before talking about this very divisive arc. Will Elias admit it's not as good as he thought it was? Will Jaina find more worth in it (and in the art?) Listen on, true believers!
