Make Mine Multiversity Episode 86: All Your Baseline Is Belong to X!

Welcome Back to Mine Multiversity: A Marvel Podcast! Each episode we’ll be looking at Marvel books, old and new! We discuss fun Marvel comics, and also Marvel news, Marvel history, Marvel trivia and the best stories Marvel has to offer. Or, in this case, EVERY Hickman-era X story Marvel’s had to offer.

Make Mine Multiversity is a twice-monthly podcast that premieres on the first and third Friday of every month. We’re trying to match the X-line’s output but…whew. Marvel makes that hard.

The Hickman era of the X line is over. Long live the X line! It’s no surprise we love the X line at the moment and so it should be no surprise that we wanted to celebrate the departure of the Head of X in style. It’s time to talk legacy, Hickman, and the past three years of X books. Come on down and see if your list of X books lines up with Jaina or Elias’ in this final Baseline X. Or about as final as anything gets with superhero comics. Don’t worry: we’ll have a new #1 soon enough.

Next book club: We’re reading the original “Howard the Duck” #1-8, 30 and 31. You can find these in the first two volumes of “Howard the Duck: The Essential Collections” or on Marvel Unlimited or through your local library if they have it. I’d have directed you to ComiXology too but Amazon recently decided to eat it whole and I’m still mad.

Shout off in the comment section below and get the conversation started or share them on Twitter using the hashtag #MakeMineMultiversity. Elias can be found on Twitter @Quetzelish and Jaina @Rambling_Moose.

The show is available on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, and other places so please subscribe! You can also listen above or download it here.

Make Mine Multiversity Episode 94: Judgment of X

    By and | Jul 1, 2022 | Podcasts

After quite a number of episodes away, our monthly (now quarterly-ish) look at every X-book published since "House of X/Powers of X" returns with a new title and a new coat of paint. In addition, there's a small detour into one of the X one-shots we loved: "Giant-Size X-Men: Thunderbird" #1. Oh, and apparently Elias is British or has been reading Kieron's newsletter too much because he kept spelling Judgment as Judgement.
