It’s the middle of the month –and Zach is back from paternity leave! — so “One Piece Club,” our ongoing catch-up of “One Piece,” is back! In this we cover chapters 525-550, comprising the entirety of the ‘Impel Down’ arc. Multiple characters return as Luffy makes his way through the Navy’s (supposedly) inescapable prison, including a certain someone who is cemented as Walt’s favorite character. We’ll be back in a month with chapters 551-580, a sizable chunk of the epic Marineford arc, and you can read along with us with the #OnePieceClub hashtag on Twitter. In the meantime Walt and Emily will be back in a few weeks to discuss July in Shonen Jump.
