Welcome back to Marveling at the Movies, a podcast for Multiversity with Alexis Perry, Matthew Meylikhov, and future internet superstar Matt DiChiara. In this show, Alexis and Matthew (two people very fluent in movies and comics) make their friend Matt (who had never seen any of the modern superhero films before last season) watch movies and talk about them until he gets mad at yells at us. To quote Matt, “…cool.”
The latest episode finds our team divided. One basically hates the show, one thinks this was the best episode yet, and the other is stuck squarely in the middle because this should’ve been a movie and not a TV show! But which one is which? Is this perhaps the most divisive and transformative our favorite podcasters have ever been on this show? Are we going to have to rethink the entire production so everyone can assume their new roles? Only time will tell, but in the meantime, yeah this was probably the best The Falcon and The Winter Soldier episode so far. Thanks, incredibly low bar!
