It’s the middle of the month, so it’s time for “One Piece Club,” our ongoing catch-up of “One Piece!” In this month’s episode we cover chapters 551-580, containing the major events of the ‘Paramount War’ arc (or ‘Marineford,’ opinion seems to be split on what to call it). Characters die, rules we thought were set in stone are broken, and nothing will be the same again. We’ll be back in a month with chapters 581-602, which includes the fallout of the ‘Paramount War’ and the first few chapters post-timeskip, and you can read along with us with the #OnePieceClub hashtag on Twitter. In the meantime Walt and Emily will be back in a few weeks to discuss August in Shonen Jump.
