Let’s try this again, shall we?

Due to popular demand, we’ll be featuring The Best of Pop Culture Hound every second Sunday here at Multiversity Comics.

This week, as we sit on the cusp of a brand new year, we present Chris’ first round of interviews from the Festival International de la Bande Dessinée (Angoulême) back in 2014. In this episode, Chris chats with writer Joe Keatinge, comics journalist Heidi MacDonald, and Imaginism Studios’ creative director Bobby Chiu.

First up, Joe talks about what he’s been working on since the end of Glory, and what’s coming up next. Then Heidi chats about her first Angoulême experience and how it’s affected her view of US shows. Finally, Imaginism Studios’ Bobby Chiu discusses their animated comic Niko & the Sword of Light, plus their continued work in film.

Chris Thompson

Chris Thompson emerged from the womb suckling on the teat of popular culture. He loves comics and films in equal measure (though not always together) and genuinely enjoys subtitled features, particularly French ones. When not indulging his passions, he’s working with them as a brand manager for Titan Comics – clearly not the best work-life balance one could have. In the rare moments he’s not working, Chris enjoys travel and is often headed to a festival or event of some kind. You can follow him on Twitter @popculturehound and subscribe to Pop Culture Hound via iTunes.
