Finding a partner in any endeavor can be a tricky thing. Finding a creative partner in comics, one that really syncs with and elevates what you bring to the table, is even more difficult. But we hope to prove that it’s not impossible with today’s pair of creative pair interviews. First up is a short conversation with dynamic “Batman” duo of Greg Capullo and Scott Snyder. You can read a transcript of this conversation here, but I thought it would be worthwhile giving you the opportunity to hear the actual voices behind the words as they talk about the latest ‘Superheavy’ arc, what actually goes into the Bat-drink they put out each month, and what type of salad dressing Scott Snyder would be.

After that is a talk from 2013 that I managed to rescue from a fiery wreck of a hard drive a while back: Scott Wegener & Brian Clevinger, the mad scientists behind the Fightin’ Scientists of Tesladyne and their leader, Atomic Robo. While the date on this conversation might be a little scary, the chat itself has aged quite well and is timely again with the impending publication of “Atomic Robo and the Ring of Fire” at IDW, their new publishing home.

It’s always fun to talk to more than one member of a creative time in one sitting because you get a much better sense of why these two people work so well together, and these talks are certainly no different. Finding out about how these creators tick and much more is only a click away!

Greg Matiasevich

Greg Matiasevich has read enough author bios that he should be better at coming up with one for himself, yet surprisingly isn't. However, the years of comic reading his parents said would never pay off obviously have, so we'll cut him some slack on that. He lives in Baltimore, co-hosts (with Mike Romeo) the Robots From Tomorrow podcast, writes Multiversity's monthly Shelf Bound column dedicated to comics binding, and can be followed on Twitter at @GregMatiasevich.
