Another month, another “Previews” catalog to dissect! But April brings with it some spring cleaning, as Diamond gives Boom Studios and Dynamite Entertainment seats at the big table, and sets manga publishers with a section of their very own. Behold…the Purple section! But before they tackle the newest addition, Mike & Greg start things off with the diverse Green section, covering the majority of publishers. What’s coming to comic shops in June that catches the lads’ fancies? Another season of Kaijumax! Hardboiled crime from Nury and Bruno! Allison and Larsen By Night! Mae! Prison Pit! Pyongyang!

All that, plus correcting creator blind spots and more. Definitely something for everyone in the top half of this two-part “Previews” walkthrough!

Greg Matiasevich

Greg Matiasevich has read enough author bios that he should be better at coming up with one for himself, yet surprisingly isn't. However, the years of comic reading his parents said would never pay off obviously have, so we'll cut him some slack on that. He lives in Baltimore, co-hosts (with Mike Romeo) the Robots From Tomorrow podcast, writes Multiversity's monthly Shelf Bound column dedicated to comics binding, and can be followed on Twitter at @GregMatiasevich.
