Something old and something new in today’s episode! Last week’s visit to Baltimore Comic Con resulted not only in last episode’s guest Pull List, but today’s interview with John K. Snyder III as well! Greg talked with John about two of his most recent projects: the return of his 80’s cult classic Fashion in Action and his OGN adaptation of the Lawrence Block crime novel classic Eight Million Ways to Die. Eighties indie comics, the current comics scene, the challenges of adapting prose to comics . . . all that and more comes up in this interview.

After that are a few ‘lost classics’ from the back of the archives — Baltimore Comic Con interviews circa 2011! Listen to Greg talk with JKSIII for the first time, then move on down the con floor to cartoonists Carla Speed McNeil and John Workman! Three blasts from the past to help you compare and contrast the robot from yesterday with the one from tomorrow. Enjoy!

Greg Matiasevich

Greg Matiasevich has read enough author bios that he should be better at coming up with one for himself, yet surprisingly isn't. However, the years of comic reading his parents said would never pay off obviously have, so we'll cut him some slack on that. He lives in Baltimore, co-hosts (with Mike Romeo) the Robots From Tomorrow podcast, writes Multiversity's monthly Shelf Bound column dedicated to comics binding, and can be followed on Twitter at @GregMatiasevich.
