Welcome to That’s The Issue! I’m Matt Lune, and I’ll be joined every episode by guests to discuss their love of comics by looking at the comics they love.

In this week’s episode, I’m joined by the co-writer of “Marvelous X-Men,” “The Dregs” and “Come into Me” Lonnie Nadler, and artist Jenna Cha to discuss their upcoming book “Black Stars Above.”

We’ll also be talking about the inspiration that horror has provided them in their craft. As well as the movies that have influenced them, we’ll also talk about some of their favorite comics. For Lonnie, it’s Alan Moore and Jacen Burrows’ “Providence,” and for Jenna it’s Junji Ito’s “Uzumaki.” All this and much more!

Until next time,

Born and raised in Birmingham, England, when Matt's not reading comics he's writing about them and hosting podcasts about them. From reading The Beano and The Dandy as a child, he first discovered American comics with Marvel's Heroes Reborn and, despite that questionable start, still fell in love and has never looked back.
