Welcome to That’s The Issue! I’m Matt Lune, and I’ll be joined every episode by two guests to discuss their love of comics by looking at the comics they love.

On this episode, I’m joined by Claire Napier (Women Write About Comics, Comics MNT, Shelfdust) and Al Kennedy (House to Astonish podcast) to talk about the comics they loved as children. For Al, it’s Chris Claremont and Jim Lee’s “X-Men” #2, and for Claire, it’s the British comics magazine “Bunty.”

You can find Claire on Twitter @illusclaire, and look out for her Kickstarter “Bun & Tea” that’s coming on May 28th! Al can be found @HousetoAstonish and you can find his podcast at HouseToAstonish.com

You can find That’s The Issue Podcast on Apple Podcasts, and if you like it, subscribe and leave a review, as it gets the show featured and (hopefully) a bigger audience.

You can also access the show via RSS, Spotify, Stitcher, Soundcloud, Podbean, or via the Pinecast website.

That’s The Issue is on Twitter @ThatsTheIssue and I’m on there too, @MattLune. If you have any questions, queries or comments drop the show a line: thatstheissuepodcast@gmail.com.

Until next time,
Matt

Born and raised in Birmingham, England, when Matt's not reading comics he's writing about them and hosting podcasts about them. From reading The Beano and The Dandy as a child, he first discovered American comics with Marvel's Heroes Reborn and, despite that questionable start, still fell in love and has never looked back.
