We know what you’re thinking. “Another podcast? On a website that already has a popular video podcast, shares the hosting for an audio podcast, and produces two different written ‘podcasts’?” You’re darn tootin’ another podcast!

Introducing for your listening pleasure: a brand new podcast, brought to you by your favorite comic book website Multiversity Comics and the wonderful folks at Tell Me Something! Produced by us MC-folk but hosted by TMS, we hope to bring you a brand-new high-quality podcast discussing all things comics. Hosted by MC’s own Brian Salvatore, Chad Bowers and Matthew Meylikhov, The Hour Cosmic will be updated bi-weekly, and each show will find the tenacious trio forming their own little Book Club to recommend comics they’re currently reading before launching into Weekly Discussions and ending with Listener Questions.

And hey, you never know what else is to come in the future. As Gatsbys American Dream once said, “We’ve got plans. Wicked plans.”

So what do we have for you today? In this 90 thrilling minute special for a GIANT-SIZE HOUR COSMIC introduction episode, you’ll meet your new favorite hosts and hear their choices for the first ever Hour Cosmic Book Club, as well as a discussion of their hopes and dreams for 2012. And just wait until you hear the first ever listener question, produced without having aired a single episode! (For reference, future episodes will be an hour, and 100% cosmic.)

Be sure to check us out/subscribe to us on iTunes, and also check out the official site over at TellMeSomething.org. You can also download the mp3 of the show for your personal mp3 player. Check below for a streamable copy of the episode that you can listen to here, and enjoy the show!

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
