Welcome to another installment of The Hour Cosmic, your favorite comics game show! This week, our guest is comics legend Larry Hama!

On this week’s show, among other things, we discuss:

– The death of duck comics!

– The fairness of Superman!

– Not knowing what is coming on page 2!

Let’s meet our guest, shall we?

Larry Hama has had quite the career in comics, from editing at DC and Marvel, working in humor comics, to penciling and writing a multitude of books, but is best known for his long runs on “Wolverine” and “G.I. Joe.” If you were a child of the 80s or 90s, you’ve clearly seen his work, whether on “Nth Man: The Ultimate Ninja,” “Venom,” “Transformers,” “The ‘Nam,” “Blaze,” “Bucky O’Hare,” and “Conan The Barbarian.” He is currently writing “G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero” for IDW and is prepping a novelization of “The Death of Captain America” for Marvel. Please visit him on Facebook!

As always, your hosts are:

Chad Bowers – South Carolinian, GI Joe enthusiast, co-writer of “Subatomic Party Girls” “Down Set Fight,” and “Awesome Hospital” with Chris Sims, and writer of “Monster Plus.” He teaches us cool expressions like “Oh, snakes!” and has a lot of opinions about barbeque.

Matthew Meylikhov – Bostonian, cat and beard enthusiast, co-writer of “Detective Space Cat” with Colin Bell, writer of “Morning Glories Babies,” “Morning Glories Academy Study Hall” (both backmatter for the Image Comics series “Morning Glories“) and “Control,” and letterer extraordinaire. He reads more comics than anyone on the planet, and has sworn off White Castle for life.

Brian Salvatore – New Jerseyan, New York Mets enthusiast, host of “Input/Output,” a music podcast, and occasional blogger/freelance writer. He has never met a dog he didn’t like (even that one that bit his leg when he was 10), and has baked better bread than he ever thought possible.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
